Maintenance Manager
Job Summary:
- Maintain the capability of the company's assets to perform their designed function thereby increasing shareholder value by maximizing the company's return on assets.
- Maximize the effective use of warehousing resources whilst satisfying Company’s requirements and expectations.
- Manage the Supervisory and Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Support Division, in addition to the other information technologies.
- Planning to minimize risk by reducing the uncertainties surrounding maintenance conditions and clarifying the consequences of related management actions. However, to help the organization reach its objectives.
- Controlling the newly Tenders, Projects and Contracts that keeps the company requirement on-track, on-time and within budget.
Working Conditions:
- The position involves working in both office and field environments. Additionally, the maintenance Manager may be required to work non-standard hours in response to emergencies or operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule, train, supervise and motivate employees for the maintenance department.
- Coordinate work performed by outside vendors/Manufactures.
- Ensure efficient repair schedules and review repair cost estimates.
- Prioritize the maintenance and repairs of company equipment and parts.
- Ensure that all equipment is maintained, checked and in proper working order.
- Implement safety policies and procedures for the department.
- Control and manage inventory.
- Monitoring the Material and level of shortage to sustain the proper operating plant.
- Ensure development and maintenance of documentation required by management, insurance representatives, and auditors by maintaining records of all activities.
- Outage and/or maintenance historical records to facilitate efficient and comprehensive planning and scope development of future work.
- Coordinate scheduled maintenance activities, shutdowns, and repairs to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Optimize maintenance planning system to ensure efficient use of manpower at each facility.
- Conduct root cause analysis and failure investigations to identify underlying issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve equipment reliability.
- Provide guidance and support for planning activities at the operating facilities.
- Serve as a focal point for resolving questions/input from Operations,
- Assist with the preparation of Scheduled Outage, Project, and departmental budgets.
- Interpret contract documents, contractor bid proposals, and Company policies and regulations.
- Maintain the integrity of the computerized maintenance management system by Providing guidance for system administration functions.
- Develop cost, schedule, performance criteria, and estimated manpower requirements for job cost analysis.
- Assists with the preparation and implementation of contractor cost tracking for outage and project related tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
- Evidence of continuing education, such as certifications, a plus
- Ability to work in high-pressure, deadline driven environment.
- Exceptional communication and reporting skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, and marine loading equipment, with experience in troubleshooting and repair
- Sharp, Strong, and motivated.
- Outstanding leadership skills and ability to delegate responsibilities effectively.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and predictive maintenance technologies, such as vibration analysis, thermography, and ultrasonics.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to equipment maintenance, including lockout/tagout procedures, confined space entry, and hot work permits.
Experience:
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in the same Field with Minimum 5 years’ experience in management roles.
