As part of the company's continuous efforts to preserve the environment, JIPC proudly announces that it achieved the- ECO Port/SLC-PERS Certified-which is granted to ports committed to environmental management systems in accordance with European scales and measurements(Standards); after the company successfully passed all required tests and performance indicators.
Eng. Rowwad: The certificate reflects Jordan's interest in environmental scales and measurements (Standards) and will assist in elevating the investment environment.
Dr. Nsour: The company invested in developing the environmental systems in JIPC with dedication and commitment to the highest safety measures and standards.
Eng. Shihadeh: We implement a global environmental system that contributes in protecting the surrounding environment and establishing safe handling systems.
With this certificate JIPC has taken its place on the map as the first local port to achieve - ECO Port/SLC-PERS Certified- in the region.
Chairman of the Board “Eng. Abdel Wahab Al-Rowwad” pointed out that such an achievement reflects Jordan`s interest in environmental scales and measurements (Standards) in front of international and European ports, raising the potency of elevating the investment environment in Jordan.
Vice-Chairman of the Board “DR. Maen Al-Nsour” added that JIPC focused on committing to the highest safety measures and standards and protecting the environment while developing its Terminal, which in return raises the credibility and trust for JIPC in global markets and increasing the handling quantities while lowering freight rate. He also commented that the company always seeks to be at the forefront in the level of services it provides to its customers in a way that reflects positively on the flow of materials and thus improves the Jordanian export capacity.

Khaled Shihadeh” on his turn confirmed that the investment outcomes in the developmental works in the industrial port with the successful partnership with the Grantors, in addition to setting high-quality environmental plans, was crowned by achieving ECO Port/SLC-PERS certificate which is important locally and regionally
