The Vessel “KNUT OLDENDORFF”

Jordan Industrial Ports Company berthed the vessel “KNUT OLDENDORFF” and intends to load it with three types of dry bulk fertilizers for three users (the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company, the Arab Potash Company and the Nippon Fertilizer Company) in the process of exporting them to the United States of America.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Eng. Abdul Wahab Al-Rowwad, expressed his happiness with this joint shipment between three users as a result of the development work in JIPC.

Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Maen Al-Nsour, stressed that this kind of port operations had a positive impact on the users in terms of reducing sea freight costs.

The General manager, Eng. Khaled Shihadeh, commented that the development of the industrial port provided the opportunity for users to load two ships at the same time with  simultaneous loading of several types of dry bulk materials with high standard operational specifications compared to the ports of the region and the world.

It should be noted that the industrial port contributed to facilitating the participatory process between industrial and economic companies, aiming to reduce expenses and thus increase the revenues of the national economy.
