Jordan Shield Exercise


The scenario of the Exercise as set up by the National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM), simulates incidents involving radioactive, biological, and chemical hazards, in addition to standard procedures to contain them and deal with their impact according to best practices. The drill included:

  • To reduce the threat of mass destruction weapons.
  • To achieve modernization to ensure partnership between the relevant Jordanian institutions.
  • To raise capabilities to achieve a quick and coordinated response to face anticipated threats and challenges that threaten Jordan's higher national interests
